A Recipe for Christmas

As Christmas approaches, I was looking for Italian recipes and found this:

Thrushes with Myrtle

The method of creating this Sardinian masterpiece which uses “Wild Birds – (starlings, thrushes, blackbirds, but also quails)” can be seen at https://www.ricettedisardegna.it/pilloneddus-e-taccula/

There is a “Comments” panel at the bottom of the page, feel free to offer your thoughts…

Update, Jan 10 2018

I offered the following comment on 7 December but it is “still awaiting moderation” – I wonder why …

“I love Sardinia, but this is disgusting. Although traditions are great, we live in the 21st century where respect of wild animals should take priority, and you should remind everybody that under the national legislation it is not legal to sell or buy Thrushes, Blackbirds, Starlings or quails caught in the wild.”
