Bald
Eagle
(Haliaeetus
leucocephalus)
On a visit to Alaska
in 1992 the locals said the Spring was the latest it had been for 30
years. One day the temperature was -15ºC and the next it was +5º;
Spring was to last about 10 hours and then Summer arrived.
The birds arrived immediately - how did
they know?
The next week end I took my little hire car
to Homer, near the sea, and there saw lots of Bald Eagles, this adult
was looking particularly majestic and has become one of my favourite
images. |
