(Emberiza cirlus)
A birding hot spot on the island of Mallorca is the Bocquer Valley where the habitat, and the birds, changes as the valley gets higher into the mountains.
At the base of the valley, still quite close to the town of Porto Pollensa we found this Cirl Bunting collecting insect food for its nestlings.
