Mallorca is a popular holiday destination but the island is also very good for bird watching. The famous wetland, s'Albufera, attracts both birds and birders simply because the habitat is excellent and disturbance is not excessive.
This Black-winged Stilt was easily photographed from one of the hides overlooking a shallow lagoon.
