A few years ago I retired from the Royal Air Force after nearly 30 years and am now enjoying a totally different life which is divided among a number of things - all of which I really want to do...
- My photography - it seems to be a law of meteorology that the light is always at its worst at the week end - well, now I can get out whenever the conditions are right.
- I am teaching in the evenings at local venues, mostly on digital photography and related subjects.
- I am a keen wood worker and enjoy making furniture for our house.
- There is always an excuse to get out into the countryside and go bird watching and...
- Perhaps the most satisfying is my work as the UK Representative of LIPU, the BirdLife Partner in Italy. It is this work which I feel is so important - to protect the migrating birds which belong to no one and should not be shot down simply because they are there.
